choke on that causality

Now with paradox correcting time codes.

I thought this was funny. I got an email today that said the following:

“The reboot did fix the following problems:”

Then the message was recalled and they wrote this…

“Sorry about the first note - left out the NOT. The reboot did fix NOT the following problems:”

LMAO. Is that Yoda?

Chad’s given me a great tip! Google Maps now has a “Customize Directions” feature where you can drag the blue line noting a route and it will automatically re-route based on your adjustment. I tried it out and it seems to work decent when trying to make small changes. Don’t try to get to complicated because what ends up happening is it creates a bunch of intermediate stops along the way in order to do all the computing. I routed a trip from my home to Cedar Point, and knowing Google always tells me a stupid way to get there….I was able to adjust it to a more sensible route. Yay…no more mapquest…hopefully.

Check out the before and after below. You can see how it put an intermediate stop in there to get it to go in the right direction after I dragged it. Also check out the demo.

I’ve been taking care of my sister’s dog while she is on vacation. Her name is Tinkerbell and she is a Great Dane. Huge! She always wants to be on top of me too. I can’t sit down on the couch without her trying to lay down on top of me all awkwardely. Can you picture it? She flails her arms and legs around and it’s freakin dangerous….Ok now imagine this dog around my little nieces and nephews. Crazy shit.

So yeah I wreak of dog lately. I can’t wash my puppy yet because of her spay surgery. She’s kinda got a little puppy dandruff too. I can’t wait to get her all nice and clean.

I guess I’m going to take Friday afternoon off and try to get some stuff done around the house like finish painting the den and bathroom and replacing the hinges on the cabinetry…I know…it’s been a work in progress for weeks now. I just hope I don’t end up laying around on the couch or napping the whole time…

Last night I watched “Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters”. I found it incredibly funny for not making any sense whatsoever. You keep thinking you are going to learn the origin story and other cool little tidbits…like what the fuck that jewel on the back of Frylock is for…(perhaps just a fancy vcr cover?)…but nothing is really explained…and that’s part of what makes it so funny.

Today I was starting things off right, and I just had a salad for lunch. And a coworker brought in ice cream bars for a birthday treat. Foiled again. Foyled? Foyeled? Those all look weird. But yeah it’s absolutely wonderfully delicious…like it is ice cream covered in chocolate with those little krispies in it. I don’t even really know what those little krispies are but I love them. Yum.

Last night Mike and I visited a gas station convenience store because we wanted to pick up some soda real quick…and the only parking is in the back. But apparently they lock the back doors at 10pm. Wtf…so you have to walk around the whole building. I’ll tell ya what…That convenient store isn’t very convenient. So what did Mike do? He drove to the front and parked at one of pumps. No, we didn’t get gas. He was naughty.

We’ve been trying to be more eco-friendly greeny people so we bought these energy efficent CFL bulbs for our home. Most of them seem to work fine…except the round ones I bought for the bathroom vanity. They take forever to get bright. Like you can almost start to see after you are done peeing.

Ok I have just one more random thing I wanted to blog about. If you think it’s cute/appropriate/acceptable/whatever to listen to your voicemail on speakerphone at work…then I wish horrible itchy toe fungus on you…ok. you fucking suck. I hate you.

This is cool news. I absolutely can’t stand all that pre-installed shit that clutters up your brand new computer. Dell Kills Crapware…Almost and Dell Lets Users Refuse ‘Bloatware’

Oh and check out dell’s awesome new laptop. I want one. XPS M1330

what a cutieI liked Kaelyn. Mike liked Calliope. So we settled on both. She’s exhausted right now. Poor baby wore herself out. I was surprised how comfortable she’s been with both Mike and I. She really loves us already. She likes to take naps on top of us. In fact she’s napping on top of me right now. Makes it difficult to type.

IMG_4044Makalu and K.C. seem to be getting along pretty well for it being less than 2 days. Kitty has stopped hissing for the most part, and he will try his best to hold his ground when puppy is all over him. I think eventually they are going to be friends. Oh and those pigs don’t seem to care one way or the other. They just want fed.

It’s been a pretty lazy weekend overall. Not really looking forward to going back to work tomorrow….as always.
