Hello. You’ve found your way to my blog.
My name is Scott. I live and work in Northwestern Ohio. I went to school for-like ever and I don’t ever really want to go back. As of now, I have a pretty good job working in IT. I live with my partner Mike. We’ve been together over 6 years now. He’s going back to school to become a nurse. He looks pretty cute in scrubs.
I have some eccentric pets for anyone over the age of 12. Two guinea pigs, Quentin and Oliver. A Hamster, Leela (a.k.a. The Stink Monster). She hates us. I used to have a rat named Peyton (He was very sweet.) Also have some more conventional pets…a beagle/terrier mix puppy named K.C. who has tons of energy but will eventually pass out in my lap. I also have 2 very cute and very lazy Himalayan kitties, Makalu and Talula.
I know I live in a pretty small boring town, but I do have a decent job at the moment, and Mike is doing the school thing…so I don’t plan on leaving anytime soon. We recently bought our first home, and we are really liking it. Although, I feel it will forever be a work in progress…if you know what I mean.
I sleep with stuffed animals. I even stash one or two in my suitcase if I have to go away for business. I collect Littlest Pet Shop animals, and I like to decoupage and do crafty artsy fartsy type projects. Haven’t in a while though.
I probably watch more tv than the average person. I love all types of shows really. Love cartoons like Family Guy, American Dad, Futurama, South Park, but I also get into more general cartoons like Justice League, Batman, Digimon, Pokemon, and I love all the classic 80’s and 90’s cartoons: smurfs, snorks, gummi bears, duck tales, and all that. I’m also a little obsessed with the whole Buffyverse…I’m sad that all the shows ended, but now I’m into the comics.
I really like video games. Not into the first person shooters like most guys my age…but I love RPGs, and action adventure platformer type games like Mario and Ratchet & Clank. I have Wii, Playstation 2, and DS. Right now I’m into Zelda Phantom Hourglass and Super Mario Galaxy. I’ve been toying around with the idea of getting a PS3, but it’s still a little on the expensive side…so we’ll see.
I like to find funny in the ordinary. I try to stop and think about the little things that we all take for granted…and analyze them. I tend to ramble on about stuff that happened to me…dumb shit people said…random thoughts that pop in my head. I find myself talking about things that bug me or how much people suck sometimes. I also like to post pictures (especially of all my pets), talk about geeky tech stuff, and comment on movies, television, comics, games, and other junk like that… You’ll probably see all sorts of random stuff on my blog. So hope you enjoy, and feel free to comment. I love comments.
