choke on that causality

I’ve gotten into this really bad habit of coming home from work and taking about a 2 hour nap. This wouldn’t be a problem if I could get to bed at a normal time. Last night I was probably up til about 1…I used to go to bed around 10. I really need to break myself of this. But it’s totally a slippery slope. I’m so tired from not getting enough sleep the night before I have to take that nap after work.

Oh I fixed my flickr gallery finally. I even got the sidebar working again. It’s been months since that worked.

Mike and I haven’t settled on a name for our new puppy. We have a few ideas, but usually when we’ve named our pets there is a name that just feels right. Haven’t found it yet. Probably after we get to know her a little better.

I just got a text message that puppy is out of surgery. She is so damn cute, isn’t she? She’s gonna be real spoiled…like all our other pets.

We are getting our puppy tomorrow night. She is quite the little ball of energy. I feel bad though that she is going to have surgery and then aftewards come over to a strange place with strange people and strange pets. Ah well. She’ll get over it.

Does anyone else have that work situation where there is someone you work with that everyone around you just thinks is great and awesome and wants to work with them on everything…and you just don’t get it at all……Me neither. yeah, we’ll go with that.

I’m noticing more and more that I just don’t really fit in at work. Like my personality is unlike anyone else, and I guess I just read people differently than others. Maybe I’m too sensitive…I dunno.

I finally upgraded to the newest Wordpress and I’m trying out a new theme called “iTheme”. It’s all fancy mac-ish and you can drag and drop sidebar items. I don’t really think that is necessary for any reason…but to each his own right…I’ll probably leave it like this for awhile.

When is someone going to make a good flickr gallery plugin for Wordpress. Mine is always breaking and I’m getting really sick of it. I noticed over on Anthony’s blog, that he’s not using the flickr gallery plugin anymore either…man if I knew php a bit better…and actually had time…I would attempt a plugin myself. Ah well. Let me know if you see anything.

Yes. I’ve been a little absent from the blogging world. This site needs an upgrade and complete overhaul too. I’m getting sick of looking at the same theme. All in due time.

I posted some pics of my family reunion from this past weekend. Check em out. Some of them are pretty cute.

Mike and I have decided to adopt a puppy. Her name is Tress, and she is about 3 months old. Really small, as you can see from the picture. She came over to meet us yesterday, and little thing is able to just walk through the fenced in area in our back yard. We’ll definitely have to do something about that. She chased kitty around for a while and he hissed a little bit, but I think they will end up getting along. It doesn’t hurt that Makalu is like way bigger too. We will be able to get Tress in about a week. I’m not too sure about that name. It’s cute but it’s after Ohio State, and Mike and I don’t care for football. So she may or may not be renamed. Poor little baby. Hope she’s not too confused.

You may have noticed that I’m having issues with my flickr photos showing up on my blog. I’m looking into the problem. I’ll let you know when it is resolved.

I’m trying a new theme for my blog. I like it, but it’s been a pain the ass to tweak it so all the plugins and widgets look right. I think it’s acceptable at this point. Comment if you find something that is off.

Mike got me clocky for my birthday! I’m so excited. I know my birthday isn’t until next weekend, and I actually wanted to wait, but Mike was the impatient one. He made me open it already. But it’s cool. I love it. We tested it out, and it works wonderful! Im actually looking forward to Monday morning and chasing him down at 6:09 am. Why is it that snooze is 9 minutes. I’ve always thought that was weird. Is that because they think you’re going to let it go off for a full minute, so then it’s like you get that 10 extra minutes…I still don’t really get it. But you can alter it with clocky. I’m gonna do 10, just to prove my point.

Today has been the laziest day. I felt sick earlier, and pretty much just slept a bunch. Mike is asleep as a I type this. His job interview went really well. They offered him the job. It’s going to be every other weekend and on call for the most part. I think that will work out well, cause he can pretty much work however much he wants. I don’t think he’s going to be taking any classes this summer.

Oh i got the first issue of the Buffy Season 8 comic. It was great. I mean I have to admit, I’m a little disappointed because it seemed sooo short. Like I read it in 5 minutes. But I was incredibly happy that they cleared up the whole Buffy in Rome with the Immortal storyline, because I was never a fan of that which was depicted in Angel’s season 5. God I’m a dork. Oh and I think it’s gonna be cool that Amy is going to be a big bad in this first story arc. I always thought she made a good villain.

Hehe. I just watched south park. I know that title will get some keyword hits. I don’t watch 24, but this was pretty funny.

Have you guys seen this justin.tv website? It’s like the new jenny cam. Although I never watched that. This kid apparently has attached a camera to his head, and is going to keep it there. And you can watch him like even in the bathroom and shit. Weird. I watched him for like 2 minutes and it was pretty boring…but if you’re into that. Oh now he’s at The Gap.
