choke on that causality

Last night I took a nap with puppy after work. Well I got up and I totally thought it was morning for some reason…I went and started the shower and got ready for my normal routine when I heard the familiar jingle jingle of puppies various collar tags. I was all confused…cause if it were really morning…puppy would be all tucked away in her crate. I’m an idiot. It was like 8 o’clock in the evening. But it was a good feeling to realize I didn’t have to go to work…at least not yet.

I hate mornings. I know everyone does. A lot of days all of a sudden I’m in the shower and I realize that I’ve just been standing there for who knows how long…this morning I actually started to run out of hot water cause I was in there for so long.

I’m such a zombie. I’ll be driving to work on complete autopilot. It’s kinda scary to stop and think for a minute…woah I’m driving. I hope I stopped at that stop sign cause I don’t remember.

I have a funny little puppy. She loves people…but she is incredibly territorial. If the neighbor is mowing their lawn or is just outstide in general, she gets really upset and barks at them. It’s funny because all the hair on her back spikes up. She looks funny like she has a little faux hawk. I guess it’s good that she is protective of the house…but that has to be annoying to the neighbors. She also freaks out if there are squirrels anywhere near her yard. Even in the trees. Silly little puppy.

I got an email yesterday about Buffy Season 8 #6 being available. Woops. I missed the #5 comic. So I bought them both and preordered what was available through Things From Another World (TFAW). I guess that next month there is another comic series starting that will be Angel Season 6. I’m excited about that. I really miss those shows.

I’m trying a new theme for my blog. I like it, but it’s been a pain the ass to tweak it so all the plugins and widgets look right. I think it’s acceptable at this point. Comment if you find something that is off.

Mike got me clocky for my birthday! I’m so excited. I know my birthday isn’t until next weekend, and I actually wanted to wait, but Mike was the impatient one. He made me open it already. But it’s cool. I love it. We tested it out, and it works wonderful! Im actually looking forward to Monday morning and chasing him down at 6:09 am. Why is it that snooze is 9 minutes. I’ve always thought that was weird. Is that because they think you’re going to let it go off for a full minute, so then it’s like you get that 10 extra minutes…I still don’t really get it. But you can alter it with clocky. I’m gonna do 10, just to prove my point.

Today has been the laziest day. I felt sick earlier, and pretty much just slept a bunch. Mike is asleep as a I type this. His job interview went really well. They offered him the job. It’s going to be every other weekend and on call for the most part. I think that will work out well, cause he can pretty much work however much he wants. I don’t think he’s going to be taking any classes this summer.

Oh i got the first issue of the Buffy Season 8 comic. It was great. I mean I have to admit, I’m a little disappointed because it seemed sooo short. Like I read it in 5 minutes. But I was incredibly happy that they cleared up the whole Buffy in Rome with the Immortal storyline, because I was never a fan of that which was depicted in Angel’s season 5. God I’m a dork. Oh and I think it’s gonna be cool that Amy is going to be a big bad in this first story arc. I always thought she made a good villain.

There is a new Buffy the Vampire Slayer dark horse comic from Joss Whedon himself that will follow the characters in a season 8. The first issue has already been released. I ordered it online. I’m very excited about this. I was honestly disappointed with the tiny tidbits of the buffy-ites that I saw in the 5th season of Angel. So we’ll see if they follow that closely. I’ll post a review later.
