choke on that causality

My kitty gets poo stuck to his fur all the time, and it ends up falling off on the carpet or the kitchen floor. Yuck. It’s not his fault though. I don’t think he even realizes. Well today he had some squishy poo stuck to him that we just couldn’t get off easily. So bath time for kitty. We are pretty lucky though. He isn’t scared of water. So it isn’t hard to bathe him.

Alright we’ve looked at about 15 houses in 3 days. We’ve narrowed it down to 3 possibilities, but think we’ve decided on THE House. We’ll probably go look at it one more time. It’s in a nice quiet neighborhood, and needs practically no work. Maybe some paint in some rooms. It has a really nice marble fireplace…although I’m not a big fan of fireplaces…ah well. It looks pretty.

We looked at 6 or 7 houses yesterday. Out of those we liked at least two of them. One of them my friend from high school used to live in…so it was kinda neat to see all the stuff that had changed in ten years. Tomorrow we plan to look at about 8 more houses…and then I dunno. Hopefully find one that we will settle on.

I’ll review some of my finer notes.

House #1: Smelled like poop. And from the look of the carpet…I’d say they had some pretty bad puppies.
House #2: Huge finished basement…with a huge bar we wouldn’t use. Strange back “enclosed” patio. Kinda shitey.
House #3: No.
House #4: Brick. New everything. Strange bookshelf thing as we walked in. Mike and I both stared at it in as soon as we walked in…in a “what the hell is that?” sorta way…cause we could only see the back of it.
House #5: The depressing remnants of divorce house. Single Straight guy with lost of single straight guy stuff. Crazy all over the place different carpet in every room. 70’s pink bathroom.
House #6: Smelled musty. Cracks in the ceiling. Possible flood zone.
House #7: I really liked this house. It was old with all the wood preserved throughout the house. Very homey…but no central air…and I’m such a baby. I need my a/c.
House #8: The best. Loved it. But kinda expensive, and only a one car garage.

The power went out last night at our apartment for about an hour or so. It sucked. Instead of watching tv and using the internet and playing video games, we had to like talk…it was weird I tried to go to bed, but I can only sleep with the sound of a fan going. Oh and I’m 27 and I sleep with a night light. Yeah…fuck you. We have them in like every room in the house…it was so strange for it to be all dark and quiet.
