choke on that causality

Yesterday I saw someone at work who still had the size sticker on their brand new pair of pants. Hilarious. I didn’t know him though…so I just stared and laughed instead of telling him.

At work when people are Out of the Office for one reason or another, we send all day free meeting notices to each other so other people know you will gone. I just think it is funny cause I always used to just get ones with the subject “OOO”. Don’t know why that has always struck me as funny. I often get ones for “Therapy”. What is the first think you think of when you see that word…I know it is physical therapy…but I always picture a shrink.

So I have a poison ivy rash on my knees and arms from weeding and mulching the other day I assume. It sucks. An no, it isn’t contagious like a lot of people think. You only get it where the plant oil touched your skin. The oil is long gone now…I’m just itchy.

It was so sunny and beautiful outside just a little bit ago. So what did I do. I decided to move the patio furniture and chairs and put some towels down on the deck and lay out in the sun….guess what happened…that’s right folks. As soon as I laid down, the mother of all clouds hovered above me blocking out all hope of sun. Fuck. Well rather than get (too) upset, I decided to do the next best thing. I went to the tanning salon. So there ya go. Big ol’ middle finger to you mother nature!

Last night I laid down for what I thought was going to be a disco nap, but it turned into an all-nighter. I must have been really tired.

I guess not much has been going on in my world lately. I moved to a cubicle next to a window recently at work. I feel special. Oh and I got an award for doing a good job externalizing an application server. A $50 gas card. I thought that was cool.

Sammy and KC are as annoying as ever. Love em to death…but it is getting harder and harder to walk them. I bought a new leash that has a rubber grip on it, so my hand no longer gets burned…but it is still a huge workout to walk them. I’m thinking about taking them both to obedience classes. Sammy is on some medication now to get rid of his parasites. Hopefully he’ll get a clean test here in another couple of weeks. If he stops eating dirt and licking water off the deck that is…

I’m trying to patch up some missing grass areas outside. But now I have a feeling that wherever Sammy has chosen to pee now will be the new bare spots.

I remember when I was younger thinking, why the hell can’t they make a vending machine that actually takes bills…you know what I’m talking about. The fact that you had to uncrease and manipulate the bill by see-sawing on the side of the machine and it still wouldn’t fucking take it. Combine that with never knowing what direction you are supposed to put it in because the picture is worn off….Well somewhow I missed it. Because most vending machines I use lately (only the ones at work really) take bills really easily, and you can put it any which way you want to….hehe. Just one of those things I noticed today. I need to stop taking the little things for granted.

It’s beautiful out today. I swear reading on weather.com that it was supposed to thunderstorm and shit. Maybe I dreamt all that. It was pretty early in the morning.

I took the pups for a crazy long walk today and they still aren’t worn out. As I’m typing this outside on the deck steps, they are snarling and wrestling behind me. Damn you Caesar Milan and your advice that doesn’t seem to work. My friend Andrew would agree with me.

Wow there was just an ant on my keyboard. I’m not a fan of bugs. I need to make a mental note (or a blog note I suppose) to find a pet friendly bug deterrent for around the house-I wonder if one exists. And don’t tell me to use cayenne pepper cause that doesn’t work.

So I’ve been chatting on gay.com a lot lately. I know it’s kinda strange…I hadn’t done it in years…but I guess I’ve had this urge to feel somewhat attractive. Sidebar-I recently lost about 20-25 pounds in like the Nov-Feb range, and have been doing pilates and yoga and trying to be more active. But all the guys that talk to me on gay.com are scary. And they say shit like “What are you into?”. And I just want to type “Uh, not talking to creeps like you.” I did put a couple of pictures up…there have been a couple of occasions where I will mention to someone that uh…no pic…and they say I’ll send you one through email. Keep in mind that I use my play email account for moments like these…but then I get pics of guys spreading their assholes and cocks galore…..NNNNNOooooootttt what I had in mind. p.s. I won’t post them here…cause that would just be weird.

Speaking of weird. I’ve went out in Lima, OH a couple of times recently. There is some hot mess of a gay bar there. But I’ve actually had a lot of fun on the occasions that we’ve went. I’ve recently re-connected with an old friend, and I’ve went with him…so that probably has something to do with it. That and the self-esteem booster that comes with guys hitting on me.

I don’t really know how a innocent post turned into me being a big dick tease online and at the bar…but ah well. Just being honest. I think my readers would respect that

Ugh. Scott dranky a little too much last night. I really need to stop going out. I guess I don’t do it that often-like every other week, but I need to plan better or something. Every time I do go out, I’m completely useless the next day. I’ve slept or laid around practically the entire day. And I have shit I need to get done.

I got a call from the vet this morning saying that Sammy’s stool sample came back positive for a parasite called girardia which is actually pretty common in dogs I guess. They get it from drinking water from puddles and such outside…which Sammy loves to try to do… He’s not showing any symptoms so we are just going to get him tested again in 2 weeks. Hopefully he doesn’t get sick or anything. Poor baby.

I’ve been using those crest white strips for the past few days. But I had to take a break after yesterday, because they make my teeth kinda hurt. They seem to be working though…that’s nice. I drink too much coffee and soda.

I finally upgraded to the latest and greatest version of Wordpress. I’m not really used to the admin changes yet. And is it just me or does the widget drag-n-drop controls seem buggy. It was awkward trying to reorder stuff in my sidebar. And I can’t seem to find any themes that I like. And the ones that I think are ok don’t support widgets. I know like 95% of my readers have no idea what I’m talking about…ah well.

So Sammy is getting huge! He’s also getting much better at holding his wee. He almost always makes it through the night without wetting in his crate. And he’d kinda funny. I take him out and he seems to go potty on command. While he’s squatting to pee he turns his head back to me…like, “you gettin my treat ready???” I love that puppy. Him and KC are always fighting though. It’s really annoying. KC gets so upset when he has any toy, and she makes a bunch of funny snarly noises. I’m hoping that as we can trust Sammy more and more in the house…that the extra time together will help them calm down. That’s what I’m hoping anyhow.
