I really hate the following words and phrases. I’m not quite sure why. Some of them I probably just don’t like them because people I don’t like say them quite often. Others are way overused especially at work. Others are just plain stupid.

Instead of saying “what?”, or even “pardon?” when he doesn’t hear what you say…he says “Who?” He must always assume your talking about a person…I dunno.
Instead of “damn!” or “dang!” he says “daggawnn!”
“Parking space” is instead “parkin place”.
If he asks you to help him chop up the “mangoes”, he is really referring to “green peppers”.

When I woke up this morning, my hand was asleep. No big deal. I probably slept on it wrong….well it’s been numb all day now. It’s very strange. I can feel my fingers ok…it’s just the back of my left hand..weird. I hope I’m not dying or anything.
So I’ve been on South Beach for 6 days, and I’ve lost 7 pounds. Yay me!
If I lose about 10-12 more…I’ll be happy. I just seem to be starving all the time. I hate that…and there isn’t anything easy to eat ya know…I can’t just have a bowl of cereal. Nothing convenient allowed. I’m not trying to get Nicole Richie “Skeletor” thin…I just want to be able to fit into my pants better. Beats buying a new wardrobe…plus I will look and feel better…hopefully.
I thought I found a grey hair the other day…it turned out I just got some paint primer up in there. That’s my story and I’m stickin to it.
Have you ever noticed that people have certain words or phrases they say all the time, and I don’t even think they realize it. Like someone at work uses the word “typically” constantly. How annoying. My sister and I used to poke fun at my mom all the time because she was always talking to her mother on the phone and she would end sentences with “and stuff…” and she totally didn’t realize she was doing it. It was so funny. When we told her she did it, she denied it…hehe.

I thought this was funny. I got an email today that said the following:
“The reboot did fix the following problems:”
Then the message was recalled and they wrote this…
“Sorry about the first note - left out the NOT. The reboot did fix NOT the following problems:”
LMAO. Is that Yoda?

Last night I watched “Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters”. I found it incredibly funny for not making any sense whatsoever. You keep thinking you are going to learn the origin story and other cool little tidbits…like what the fuck that jewel on the back of Frylock is for…(perhaps just a fancy vcr cover?)…but nothing is really explained…and that’s part of what makes it so funny.
Today I was starting things off right, and I just had a salad for lunch. And a coworker brought in ice cream bars for a birthday treat. Foiled again. Foyled? Foyeled? Those all look weird. But yeah it’s absolutely wonderfully delicious…like it is ice cream covered in chocolate with those little krispies in it. I don’t even really know what those little krispies are but I love them. Yum.
Last night Mike and I visited a gas station convenience store because we wanted to pick up some soda real quick…and the only parking is in the back. But apparently they lock the back doors at 10pm. Wtf…so you have to walk around the whole building. I’ll tell ya what…That convenient store isn’t very convenient. So what did Mike do? He drove to the front and parked at one of pumps. No, we didn’t get gas. He was naughty.
We’ve been trying to be more eco-friendly greeny people so we bought these energy efficent CFL bulbs for our home. Most of them seem to work fine…except the round ones I bought for the bathroom vanity. They take forever to get bright. Like you can almost start to see after you are done peeing.
Ok I have just one more random thing I wanted to blog about. If you think it’s cute/appropriate/acceptable/whatever to listen to your voicemail on speakerphone at work…then I wish horrible itchy toe fungus on you…ok. you fucking suck. I hate you.

I was just on the phone and I swear to chebus I ended the conversation with:
“Great. That would be thanks!”
Hehe. The other day Mike said while he was at work, he was talking to someone and instead of using the word “toilet”, he said “terlit”. Ha.
