Sammy
This is our newest little puppy. Although, he isn’t that little anymore. I always wanted a Lab named Sammy. I’m not sure where the name came from. I guess I just thought it was cute. I had a black lab growing up and Mike had a yellow lab, so a chocolate made sense I suppose. Sammy is beautiful, but a little uncoordinated. His feet are too big compared to the rest of him, and he tends to trip a bunch. Let’s see what else. He can’t stand in one place while he’s pooping…he insists on waddling around the yard leaving a trail of steamers for me to pick up. If you give him food or water, he eats and drinks like he’s never going to be fed or watered again…I don’t know if he thinks he has to gobble it all down or what…but just imagine how fat he would get if we free-fed him like KC. Yikes. He jumps and slams himself into the glass sliding door. I don’t really understand why. That really doesn’t want to make me let him in…it kinda makes me want to smack him…thank god he’s cute
K.C.
K.C. stands for Kaelyn Calliope. She is our little puppy we adopted from the humane society. She’s a beagle/terrier mix. She’s smaller than an average beagle. K.C. loves her walks, toys, and taking naps on one of her dads. She snores very loudly. She loves to bark at squirrels and birds, and wrestle and play with the cats and Sammy. KC loves everyone! She’ll be trying to give you kisses and nap on you within the first few minutes of meeting. She is very particular about where and when she goes potty. It kinda drives me crazy. And if the grass is wet or a little too long….forget it. KC sleeps with her daddies every night down in the depths of the covers. I’m not sure how she breathes sometimes.
Makalu
This is my cute little himalayan kitty. He was born Octoberish 2006. He’s real lazy most of the day, sleeping in the guest bed or in the closet on pillows, or pretty much anywhere comfy. He sometimes sleeps with us at night and will sometimes lick Mike’s or my beard (when I had one) in the middle of the night. Makalu isn’t the least bit scared of water or the other pets. He’s beginning to grow into a very handsome adult cat. He is always waiting for us when we walk in the door, and he sprawls out and says…”Look how cute I am!”. Pet me. Feed me.” Makalu is a pretty big cat now weighing in at a healthy 13 pounds!
Talula
Super cute right. I saw a posting at work with cute little Himalayan kittens for sale, and I couldn’t resist. She actually wasn’t for sale originally. The breeder was going to keep her to become a future mommy. But luckily, she decided to send her home with me. She’s a tortie point Himalayan. I guess that just means that her points are multicolored. Kinda grayish/cremish/brownish…I don’t really know how to describe it. But she’s a cutie. More of a lap kitty than Makalu. She’s also a handful. If you have food, she’s all up in that…especially cereal. She is real lazy and is always sleeping in one particular chair in the living room. Talula loves to be bad though and jump up on the desk while I’m at the computer, and tries to help me type on the keyboard. She’s growing into quite the mischievous little thing! She does stuff just to spite me sometimes I swear. I think a little of Leela rubbed off on her. She is always laying around on her back now too.
Oliver
This is my fat little piggy. He loves to eat. Mostly carrots, but he’ll settle for other stuff. Actually he’ll bite into anything you stick in front of his mouth, including your finger. So you gotta be careful. He hates having his back scratched. He’ll try to bite you, but he usually can’t reach. He squeals a lot when we go anywhere near the fridge and he demands to be fed! He’s a very cute pig though. We love him. He’s always trying to tell me that his Daddy #1 forgot to feed him, and that he needs fed immediately. Whatever. I don’t fall for it anymore.
Quentin
This is our little baby pig. Well, he’s actually the same age as his brother Oliver, but we always say he’s just a baby pig. He also loves to eat, but not quite as much as his brother. He likes to wander around outside his cage. He has the cutest little facial markings. His middle name is Chakotay, because his face reminds us of the first officer from Star Trek Voyager with the face tattoo. Isn’t he a cutie? He’ll let me hold him somewhat upside down and rub his belly.
